Are you happy about being an Author?

Being an Author has not been an easy career but one that has been emotionally fulfilling as I have written two young adult novels that have allowed me to express my healing journey of battling low self-worth in my novel Girl Rise and my relationship with food in Cracking the Happy Weight Code.

In my children’s book A Colorful Balloon Ride I wrote about my favorite subject of learning colors when I was in school and set the scene at the County Fair with Mr. John and two girls named Mary and Emily who learn their colors through him by using carnival objects.

In Lenny the Lizard and His Green Scarf Lenny shares his green scarf with his woodland friends Otter, the river otter, Michael, the mouse, and Blue, the blue jay to show them the importance of empathy and compassion when others are feeling sad.

What's your motivation as an author and what have you learnt from writing books?

  • It’s my opinion that a property foreclosure can have a significant effect on the client’s life. Real estate foreclosures can have a 7 to 10 years negative affect on a debtor’s credit report. A new borrower who may have applied for a mortgage or virtually any loans for example, knows that your worse credit rating is, the more hard it is to get a decent financial loan. In addition, it can affect the borrower’s power to find a reasonable place to lease or rent, if that becomes the alternative houses solution. Great blog post.
