The principles of scientific management given by Taylor are-
- Science, not a rule of thumb – Taylor believe that there is only one best way of doing a walk which can be developed through scientific study and analysis. The management should share the gains of the company. And the workers should stop going on strikes. There should be complete openness between the management and the workers, and they should realize that their true interests are the same, which is the prosperity of the employee and employer.
- Cooperation, not individualism – Instead of individualism, there should be complete cooperation between the workers and management will stop their management. Instead of personal individualism, there must be coordinated cooperation which would help in synchronizing constructive suggestions. They should reward the worker for suggestions which. help in reducing the costs the management should consult workers on taking decisions affecting them full stop both management and workers should work in cooperation for the stop. The management must consider and consult the employees before taking any decision which affects them.
- Development of each person to his or her greatest efficiency and prosperity – Scientific management advocates at the best method of doing the work should be level up through a scientific approach. Taylor advocated and implemented a scientific management approach which called for logically selecting employees for roles. Work to suit his or her physical, mental, and intellectual capabilities. Proper training should be imparted to increase efficiency.
