Are you happy about being an Author?

Yes, it’s not a fountain of money, but it’s my calling.

What's your motivation as an author?

It used to be much simpler but a life-threatening illness made me not only reconsider, but change direction. It’s not about me—such as memoir or personal achievement—anymore–which sort of drove me to write down some of the many fiction stories running rampant in my mind.

Which book or books have you published and which are in pipeline?

My debut novel is titled, Penniless Hearts. The second book is Penniless Souls and my latest novel is titled, The Happy War. (Which is on sale until the 8th) I also wrote a short faith-based novella called The Fifth Commandment.

What's your advice for budding authors?

Keep writing but don’t forget to read! Read everything you can get your hands on.

How do fight out a "Writer's Block" ?

Emotion. Sit down at your computer or with a nice pen and journal and begin to jot down some feelings. It will come.

What are the problems that you have faced in your Author journey?

Like most authors, we grapple with marketing and advertising. Even though I had a long career in advertising, it seems things have changed—especially for books.

What Kind of Books do you create and Why you chose it ?

I prefer writing travel adventures with some sort of spiritual twist.

What does your typical writing day look like ?

First, I need to eat a healthy breakfast, go for a walk and make sure I’m caught up with household chores. Running the washing machine and dryer give me the best white noise for writing.

Where can people contact you ?

What is the best thing about writing ?

The best thing about writing is discussing your characters with other writers.
