AN INTERVIEW WITH M VINOD KUMAR

Read Time: 2 minutes

Are you happy about being an Author?

It is beyond happiness and my passion meeting the aspired goal. As an author, it is not to prove how smart or intelligent I am, but it is about telling, expressing opinions and beliefs with analytical mindset.  I love to express my thoughts and ideas through a story telling of all genres.

What's your motivation as an author?

It makes me to know the world better, see with unbiased mind and eyes to evolve myself as a better version than yesterday.

Which book or books have you published, and which are in pipeline?

1) The Invincible Assassin (Published)
2) When Mind don’t meet eyes (To be published Jan/Feb 2021)
3) About Sushant Singh Rajput (Kindle version to be released by Feb/Mar 2021)
4) Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy – Andhra CM ( in discussions – Tentatively 2021 Nov/Dec 2021)

What's your advice for budding authors?

Write at least 400-500 words daily though in crude form. Only after writing few lines, you get more ideas, opens the door of your deeper mind. There is nothing like, you could create entire story in your mind. More you write, more your thoughts flow. Seeing your book published establishes your confidence. Never stop writing even if just a line every day.

How do you fight out a 'Writer's Block' ?

Fortunately, I never had any writer’s block due to constant encouragement of my motivational friend Faruk Basha. Yet times my busy schedule in day-to-day job, which is my primary source of income takes away, my majority of time on weekdays.

What are the problems that you have faced in your Author journey?

Managing the time between my every day job and pursing my passion. Juggling between two mindsets – regular work and creative work.

What Genre of Books do you create and Why you chose it?

Suspense/Thriller genre as I am highly inspired and motivated from the same genre since my childhood. In addition, I am working in genres like biography and love stories with fantasy backdrops.

What does your typical writing day looks like?

I write in the early mornings and late nights. During holidays, and on some weekends, I write continuously for a week with small breaks in between.

Where can people contact you?

My mobile number, Facebook, WhatsApp.

As an author , what do you think are the positive things about your publications?

Though, I published only 1 book,( 2nd book on the way to market), I received several compliments from several persons. Gained lot of respect, admiration and it helped me to build confidence in me.
Of all, the best are
1) The story is for intellectual people.
2) The investigation methods and techniques are unique and requires lot of research and cognitive skills.
3) The cover page speaks a lot and depicts the entire story
4) No reader could able to guess the twist in the end
